Significance of studying English abroad
For some students, studying English abroad means being exposed to new perspectives and valuable insights. Abdulrahman and Albaraa Bawazeer decided to go to the Philippines as both would want to have a new outlook of studying the language through Pines Academy. The Bawazeer brothers have also decided to study English in the academy because of the positive feedback from a friend who is a former student. They are both enrolled under the Pines’ Power EFL Course .
How did you know about Pines?
*Albaraa:” I have a friend who said that Pines is a great school ,so I told my father about it. He then started to search about it on the Internet and he said that “ the reviews are good” , so he decided to send me and my brother here.”
According to Bawazeer brothers , studying English at Pines Academy means exposure to something new like social atmosphere and customs . The best part of learning the language is meeting long term friends from another country and seasoned teachers who can influence them to use the language on social and academic spheres. Meeting Asian students like Koreans, Japanese, Chinese and Mongolians reinforced them to use English frequently .

Why Pines Academy
Albaraa decided to study English at Pines Academy in order to improve his academic writing which is essential in passing his university requirements. He dreams of becoming a successful IT Professional. He further thinks that choosing the academy that has a stable and comprehensive curriculum will make his chances of becoming successful achievable. Abdulrahman wants to get higher score for his standardized English test prior to entering university.
AlBaraa : I need to improve my English writing for me to fulfill the university requirement. I want to become an IT Professional, and for me to achieve this; I need to undergo English academic writing.Through Pines, I have improved my writing skills. My teachers are kind and professional at the same time. They give detailed coaching even on writing.
Abdulrahman: I will take a standardized English test for University. I think I will get higher score after completing my course at Pines Academy.
Albaraa and Abdulrahman are both satisfied with the learning process at Pines. According to them, they appreciate the teachers, curriculum, learning environment and the students they met. If they were given another chance to study English again in the Philippines,they will still choose Pines.
